Vantage Energy, the first affiliate retail electricity supplier of Meralco, has entered the Mindanao market through major supply agreements with top regional food firms.
The company signed retail electricity deals with Philippine Spring Water Resources Inc. (Nature’s Spring) and Cagayan Corn Products Corporation.
These partnerships align with Vantage Energy’s mission to offer reliable and competitive electricity services outside Metro Manila.
The move follows the Department of Energy’s rollout of Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) in Mindanao, allowing large power users to choose their electricity supplier.
Vantage Energy aims to capitalize on the newly opened Competitive Retail Electricity Market (CREM) in the region.
The company plans to educate Mindanao-based businesses on how to leverage CREM for improved energy cost-efficiency.
By entering Mindanao, Vantage Energy is reinforcing its push to support regional growth through smarter, customer-focused energy solutions.
