Axelum Reports ₱220 Million Net Income in First Half of 2025, Eyes Record Revenue

Axelum Resources Corp., a leading manufacturer and exporter of premium coconut products in the Philippines, reported a net income of ₱220 million for the first half of 2025.
The company posted total sales of ₱4.5 billion, reflecting a 40% increase from the same period last year, fueled by higher volumes and average selling prices across most product lines.
Core white meat products, including desiccated coconut, sweetened coconut, and coconut milk and cream, saw significant growth of 72%, 7%, and 69% respectively, accounting for over half of total revenues.
Coconut water, Axelum’s fastest-growing segment, expanded by 28% and is positioned to achieve record production output this year.
By geography, Axelum recorded double-digit growth in all key export markets, including the United States, Europe, Australia, and Asia, while domestic sales rose by 56% due to broader distribution and a growing institutional client base.
Henry J. Raperoga, President and Chief Operating Officer, highlighted strong demand for coconut-based products amid global supply shortages, noting that elevated commodity prices present both challenges and opportunities for strategic market positioning.
Gross profit climbed 31% to ₱961 million, supporting an EBITDA of ₱421 million, a 9% increase compared with the prior year’s first half results.
Pre-tax profit rose 8% to ₱258 million, while net income increased 6% year-on-year, despite pressure on operating margins from input cost inflation, particularly a doubling of average nut buying prices.
Axelum maintains a positive outlook for the second half of 2025, underpinned by strong demand in its main export markets, while closely monitoring potential impacts from rising coconut oil prices and new US import tariffs.
The company is also preparing new retail offerings aligned with its consumer-focused strategy, with launches scheduled in the coming months to capture emerging market opportunities.
Axelum’s performance underscores its position as a resilient leader in the coconut industry, leveraging both domestic expansion and global market penetration to drive sustainable growth.
Revenue momentum and strategic product innovation position Axelum to potentially achieve an all-time high topline by the end of 2025, reinforcing investor confidence in its long-term prospects.
