‘No Signal, No Service’: Verizon Customers Rage as Nationwide Outage Drags On

Thousands of Verizon customers across the United States were left without service on Saturday after a major outage disrupted calls and texts.

According to Down Detector, more than 23,000 reports were filed at the height of the disruption, with many users saying their phones were stuck in SOS mode.

Frustrated customers took to social media to slam Verizon’s slow communication, with some demanding compensation for hours of lost service.

At one point, nearly 60 percent of reports cited mobile issues.

By late evening, Verizon confirmed restoration was underway, assuring customers that engineers were working to fully resolve the issue.
