Pampanga schools to receive 413 computers from BPO firm

iQor Philippines has donated 413 refurbished computers to the Department of Education, benefiting 53 schools in Angeles City, Pampanga.

The handover event, titled “Empowering Communities Through Education,” aimed to enhance digital literacy among students.

The initiative ensures that computers are distributed across elementary, junior, and senior high schools, addressing the needs of all educational levels.

This effort aligns with iQor’s sustainability strategy, focusing on community impact and environmental responsibility. Rod Hoddinott, iQor’s Country Lead, emphasized the importance of giving back to the community.

Rapid Technologies, Inc. refurbished the computers, equipping them with necessary software.

The official transfer was marked by a Deed of Donation signed by iQor representatives and Angeles City officials.

The event featured notable guests, including local government and education officials. iQor’s commitment to social responsibility is evident in this initiative, empowering students and strengthening the local community.
