From July 27 to August 4, FC Barcelona will be touring Japan and South Korea to strengthen its unique bond with local fans and continue its mission to promote football. Global betting company 1xBet, an official partner of FC Barcelona, also pays great attention to Asia and considers it one of the priority regions. Every Blaugranas match attracts a huge audience, and the upcoming games will be no exception.
FC Barcelona’s ambitions
Last season, Hansi Flick’s team dominated the domestic competitions, winning La Liga, Copa del Rey and Supercopa de España, as well as reaching the Champions League semi-finals. In the new campaign, FC Barcelona want to cement their status as Spain’s strongest team and win the main European club tournament. The Blaugranas will begin their preparations for a promising season with matches against three Asian teams:
27.07 – Noevir Stadium Kobe, Japan. Vissel Kobe v FC Barcelona
31.07 – Seoul World Cup Stadium, South Korea. FC Seoul v FC Barcelona
04.08 – Daegu Stadium, South Korea. Daegu FC v FC Barcelona
Long history between FC Barcelona and Asia
The 2025 tour will be Barça’s seventh pre-season visit to Asia. The last time the Catalan club had a summer tour there was in 2019 when they faced Vissel Kobe and Chelsea in Japan. FC Barcelona also came to Japan in 2023 to play a friendly match against Vissel Kobe in Tokyo. The Catalans will clash with FC Seoul and Daegu FC for the first time, and these matches are sure to remain in local fans’ memory for a long time.
FC Barcelona is the most popular football club in the Asia-Pacific region. The Blaugranas have 3,6 million supporters in Japan and 2,3 million in South Korea. Besides, the Catalan club has a significant influence on the development of football in these countries: there are six FC Barcelona academies in Japan and two in South Korea.
FC Barcelona’s important mission
For local clubs, the tour matches won’t only be spectacular sporting events, but also a chance to gain invaluable experience, get a taste of top-level football and showcase their talented young players at a global level. At the same time, fans will be able to see their idols, which will give a significant boost to the development of football.
FC Barcelona’s visit is more than just a series of friendly matches. It’s a contribution to the development of the football ecosystem, the expansion of the fan base and inspiration for new generations of players. FC Barcelona will come to share their philosophy, unique style and endless passion for the game.
