CWIEME Shanghai ended its 10th anniversary exhibition on June 27, claiming its spot as the Asia-Pacific’s most “influential” trade show for motor, coil, and transformer manufacturing.
The event showcased 302 global exhibitors flaunting gear ranging from insulation materials to electric drive technologies, all while promising an AI-powered industrial utopia.
Over 35,000 professionals allegedly stormed the venue, including heavyweight buyers from firms like Bosch, Siemens, and Mitsubishi Elevator, possibly lured by the air conditioning and not just cutting-edge tech.
To spice things up, organizers introduced “CWIEME Date” and “Power Hub,” matchmaking zones where over 100 dreamy business deals were whispered into existence.
More than 40 brainy speakers gave talks on buzzword-heavy topics like humanoid robots and NEV motors, hoping to keep everyone awake between coffee breaks.
Organizers now look to 2026 for the next industry spectacle in Shanghai, presumably featuring even more jargon, networking selfies, and hopeful handshakes.
