AG&P Industrial announces completion of Thai Oil Clean Fuel Project
The Sriracha refinery expansion and upgrade project was awarded to AG&P by Petrofac, Saipem and Samsung Joint Venture
AG&P Industrial, the manufacturing and construction arm of AG&P Group, celebrated the completion of its 35-module Thai Oil Clean Fuel Project with the delivery of the final batch of 5 modules weighing 5,103.47 MT.
The Thai Oil Clean Fuel Project was for the expansion and upgrade of the Sriracha Refinery in Thailand. On July 23, AG&P set sail the sixth shipment for Sriracha, Thailand from AG&P’s facilities in Bauan, Batangas.

It is a testament to the fortitude and dedication from our leaders, partners, and every member of the 2,700-strong Thai Oil team who has ensured the safe operation and execution of this important project and delivered to our benchmark quality and safety standard, said AG&P Industrial President Alex Gamboa.
With the completion of this project, Sriracha’s refining capacity for high-value fuel products will increase from 275,000 to 400,000 barrels per day, while ensuring compliance with the new global fuel quality and emission standards.
Thai Oil is Thailand’s largest refinery and supplier of petroleum products. Founded in 1961, it operates one of the most efficient refineries in Asia Pacific with the current capacity of 275,000 barrels per day.
Thai Oil operates under the Operational Excellence principle, operating as an integrated group of businesses in oil refinery, petrochemicals and lube base oil with supporting businesses, e.g. power generation, solvents, logistics and renewable energy generation.
