2024 WSC 1 champs crowned!

The spotlight shone on six exceptional entries – Fiscalizer Sky March 8 Coliseum De Manila (Fiscal Villanueva and Bogs), Goldquest Hagibis LDI (Osang Dela Cruz), Chicken Joy GF (John Gutierrez), For The Love Of The Game (Joe Paneda/Ron Aguado), FBG Luba (Franny/Joy Brillantes/Jonel Daquiz from Abra), and Thunderbird III (Nene Araneta) – as they clinched the prestigious WSC title with an impressive 8-1 win-loss record, showcasing unparalleled expertise and strategic prowess in the thrilling world of cockfighting.

Each triumphant champion was presented with a coveted trophy, symbolizing their mastery and triumph in this fiercely competitive arena. A total of six gleaming trophies were awarded to the deserving winners, marking their place in history as the inaugural victors of this esteemed event.

The inaugural edition of what can be aptly described as the Olympics of Cockfighting unfolded at the iconic Smart Araneta Coliseum from January 29 to February 4, captivating audiences with electrifying matches and showcasing the finest talents from a pool of 248 entries. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation and excitement as each bout unfolded, revealing the sheer determination and skill of the participants vying for glory.

As the curtains closed on this year’s riveting derby, attention turned to the upcoming second leg scheduled to take place from May 22 to May 28, promising another round of intense competition and thrilling displays of talent in the world of cockfighting.
