Max Verstappen’s title reign just hit a new peak

The Dutch driver clinched his fourth consecutive Formula One world championship at the Las Vegas Grand Prix on Saturday night.
Finishing fifth in the race, Verstappen secured the title with two races remaining in the season.
George Russell of Mercedes took the victory, leading a one-two finish alongside teammate Lewis Hamilton, who started from tenth.
This achievement places Verstappen among an elite group of drivers, including legends like Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton.
Lando Norris, Verstappen’s closest rival, finished sixth, falling short in his bid to extend his championship hopes.
After crossing the finish line, Verstappen expressed his gratitude over team radio, stating, “What a season. Four times. Thank you, guys.”
The race unfolded under cool desert conditions, with Russell maintaining a commanding lead throughout.
Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc from Ferrari rounded out the podium in third and fourth places, respectively.
Despite an impressive performance, Norris’s challenge dissipated as he struggled for pace against the competition.
Verstappen’s triumph further solidifies his legacy in Formula One history as he joins an exclusive club of four-time champions.
As the season progresses, all eyes will be on Verstappen to see if he can continue this remarkable streak.
