The Beautiful Game Now Brought to You by Field-Level Product Placements

Lenovo and its smartphone brand Motorola have teamed up with FIFA as official partners for the bloated, rebranded FIFA Club World Cup 2025™.
Motorola is now the Official Smartphone Partner of the tournament, clearly betting that football fans will switch allegiances from their iPhones to Razrs out of sheer brand loyalty.
The tournament kicks off June 14 in the United States, featuring 32 club teams crammed into a four-week marketing spectacle disguised as competition.
As part of the deal, Lenovo and Motorola will provide hardware, services, and “smart” solutions to FIFA and the participating teams, which means a lot of branded laptops and selfie-ready phones backstage.
Expect to see Motorola’s name plastered across pitch-side LED boards, stadium screens, and probably your dreams by the end of this branding blitz.
Motorola will also flaunt its upcoming Razr lineup by using them to capture “exclusive” pitch-side content, because clearly nothing says elite football like vertical smartphone footage.
The companies claim they’ll enhance tournament operations, collaboration, and content creation, although the biggest enhancement might just be their Q3 sales targets.
This strategic alignment continues Lenovo’s mission of inserting itself into major global sports events with technology no one asked for but everyone gets anyway.
Tickets for this fever dream of football and corporate synergy are still available at FIFA.com/tickets.
