Shell Pilipinas Corporation has concluded the Shell Mekaniko League 2025, crowning the country’s top motorcycle and car experts in what has become the biggest mechanic competition in the Philippines. With more than 2,000 participants from 26 provinces, the nationwide contest showcased the skills, grit, and craftsmanship of Filipino mekanikos while elevating industry standards.

Running from March to its Grand Finale at Le Pavillon in Pasay City, the league combined competition with training. Contestants went through Shell-led workshops and TESDA-certified modules that prepared them for NC I and NC II certifications, boosting both their professional credentials and livelihood opportunities. Semi-finalists faced rigorous tests in written exams, parts identification, and live repair challenges, with winners each receiving ₱50,000 and a shot at the national title.

The grand showdown saw Mark Anthony Calimag of Quezon City crowned Shell Helix Auto Mekaniko Champions 2025 National Champion, while Charlie Sandoval of Caloocan City earned the Shell Advance Masters 2025 National Champion title. Each took home ₱200,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to Malaysia to experience MotoGP, alongside the Top 5 car mechanics and Top 3 motorcycle mechanics.

Vivien Lin, Chief Product Officer at @BingXOfficial, explains that this transition is driven by regulatory clarity, growing institutional participation, and the adoption of blockchain infrastructure by financial institutions.https://t.co/9g5IW9X1VA
