Mandala Madness: Gateway Gallery Hosts the Most Peaceful Eye Attack of the Year

Gateway Gallery will host Colors of Life, the debut solo exhibition of Mandala artist Karina Herrera Orozco, from June 28 to July 12, 2025.
The show features Orozco’s hand-painted Mandala patterns, meticulously created on wood using acrylic paint, rhinestones, craft mirrors, and more dots than your last anxiety attack.
Originating from the Sanskrit word for “circle,” Mandalas are known for their spiritual symbolism, which apparently now includes bedazzling wood with cosmic geometry.
Orozco describes her process as meditative and time-consuming, presumably because drawing thousands of dots while communing with the universe takes longer than a regular coffee break.
The exhibit promises an immersive visual experience that blends color, symmetry, and a whole lot of serenity for anyone craving aesthetic enlightenment.
Visitors can expect to be emotionally touched, spiritually realigned, or at the very least, mildly hypnotized by the exhibition’s vibrant and intricate designs.
The exhibit officially opens to the public on June 29, giving collectors, art lovers, and inner peace influencers a full two weeks to bask in its kaleidoscopic glory.
