Call center agent arrives at work with IV bag

A call center agent shocked everyone in her Munoz, QC office when she showed up hooked up to a dextrose drip.
She had been battling almost three days of severe dehydration from constant diarrhea and wanted to prove to her team leader that she was seriously unwell.
The TL reportedly dismissed her illness, saying the office had a bathroom and bidet, asking, “What more do you want?”
Determined to make her point, she signed a waiver at the hospital and came to her desk with the IV still attached.
Co-workers and the operations manager were stunned as she continued taking calls while visibly weak.
When the OM tried to send her back to the hospital, she instead went straight to HR.
The incident is sparking conversations about workplace empathy and the pressures employees face in BPOs.
Many online applauded her for standing up for herself, while others criticized management for a lack of compassion.
