Marielle Apan, the winner of Global Dominion Financing, Inc.’s #GoDreamer Raffle promotion from earlier this year, offered some updates following her win of the new light truck. In an interview with the head of business development at Global Dominion, Ms. Apan stated, “It will be a good source of additional passive income for our family.”
Ms. Apan’s family used the L300 as a service to go to other locations, including Vigan and Subic. While it is currently being utilized for private purposes by friends and family, they want to fully employ it for logistics or public transit as soon as they have finished registering it for business usage.
Of her three siblings, Marielle is the youngest. She was born and raised in Tacloban, Leyte. In 2022, she received her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a human resource management concentration from the College of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. When she joined Global Dominion’s raffle promotion, she was employed by a communications firm at the time.
“It really brought happiness to our family. I can’t wait for the time na magagamit na namin siya pang negosyo,” Apan stated.
In 2022, the #GoDreamer Raffle promotion was introduced with the intention of giving Filipinos the chance to win a light truck that may be utilized for business, especially in light of the fact that logistics and transportation enterprises survived the pandemic and helped to further push the country’s economy toward recovery. All adult Filipinos were eligible for the promotion, with the exception of Global Dominion workers and their second-degree relatives.
Nearly 1,000 people participated in the raffle promotion, and Marielle was declared the winner in March 2023 at Global Dominion’s 20th anniversary celebration at The Podium, which was hosted by James Deakin. A representative from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the company’s business development executives also took part in the draw.
“We are happy to learn that Marielle’s family is already using the light truck we awarded. We hope that they get to use it for business soon para mas marami pang matulungan at maserbisyuhan yung L300 from Global Dominion,” Global Dominion President & COO Patricia Poco-Palacios shared.
