Motorists and grocery shoppers across the Philippines can now combine fuel savings with retail perks following a strategic partnership between Shell Pilipinas Corporation and Landers Superstore.
The deal, signed on Oct. 1, creates co-branded mobility hubs that connect Shell’s fuel network with Landers’ membership base. Under the initial phase, the rollout targets seven primary locations: Cebu, Alabang, Vermosa, Arcovia, Otis, Balintawak, and Naga.
Mutual Member Benefits
The collaboration gives members of both platforms cross-over benefits aimed at reducing driving and shopping costs:
- Landers Members: Receive exclusive fuel discounts and promotional offers when filling up at participating Shell Mobility-Landers stations.
- Shell Go+ Members: Gain access to specialized Landers Executive Membership offers directly through the Shell Asia mobile app.
Corporate Leadership Outlook
Executives from both companies highlighted the commercial scale and consumer convenience of bringing retail and fueling experiences into a single channel.
“Landers has built a strong business and a loyal customer base over the years. We are pleased to work with them as we bring Shell Mobility stations to more locations and serve more motorists across the country,” said Lorelie Q. Osial, President and CEO of Shell Pilipinas Corporation.
The partnership comes as both brands look to increase customer retention and extend their reach into major urban centers and regional hubs.
“Our partnership with Shell allows us to further strengthen the value we provide to Landers members. By working with a trusted mobility brand like Shell, we can complement our retail experience with quality fuels, reliable service, and exclusive benefits that make membership even more rewarding,” said Bill Cummings, Deputy CEO, Landers Superstore.
The official contract signing featured leadership from both organizations, including Osial, Network Delivery Manager Maite Iturralde, and Vice President for Mobility and Convenience Mike Ramolete representing Shell Pilipinas. Joining Cummings from Landers were Buying Division Head Edgar Fernandez and Vice President for Marketing and Membership Kenneth Ocampo.
The rollouts will proceed in phases across the initial seven sites, with additional location updates expected as operations expand.
