VITRO Inc., the Philippines’ first commercial data center operator, is marking its 25th anniversary this August after launching its inaugural facility in Pasig in 2000.
From One Site to a Nationwide Network
What began as a 4MW site has evolved into the country’s largest data center network, now hosting more than 13,400 racks across multiple locations.
Serving Hundreds of Enterprises
VITRO powers the mission-critical operations of over 400 local and international companies across banking, government, retail, e-commerce, and other sectors.
Leadership Vision Realized
The expansion reflects the vision of PLDT Group Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan, who pushed for building digital infrastructure to support the nation’s transformation.
CEO Reflects on Legacy

Built to Lead in Innovation
As the country’s pioneering enterprise-grade data center provider, VITRO has continuously evolved to meet the demands of new technologies, including cloud and artificial intelligence, while adhering to global standards.
AI-Ready Hyperscale Milestone
A recent landmark achievement is the VITRO Sta. Rosa facility, the Philippines’ first AI-ready hyperscale data center, built for high-density and high-performance computing to serve enterprises, hyperscalers, and public sector clients.
Next Expansion on the Horizon
The company plans to break ground on a new data center in 2026 as part of its strategy to cement the Philippines’ role as a regional digital hub.

Looking Toward the Next 25 Years
VITRO plans to strengthen ties with industry and government, accelerate adoption of cloud and AI, and expand its network of future-ready facilities to boost the country’s competitiveness.
