Green GSM Philippines has handed over 1,000 electric vehicles to its driver partners during a three-day festival at The Tent in Las Piñas City and partner depots, marking a major expansion of its electric transport ecosystem in the country.
The event, held September 12-14, 2026, introduced a new vehicle rental model developed in partnership with VinFast. Designed to lower entry barriers for local drivers, the initiative allows eligible driver partners to start operating an electric vehicle with an initial investment beginning at PHP 5,000.
Under the rental framework, drivers can select between two all-electric VinFast models:
- Herio Green / VF 5: A 4-seater electric vehicle built for standard service operations.
- Limo Green: A 7-seater electric vehicle tailored for higher-capacity operations.
Both zero-emission models are designed to optimize energy, maintenance, and servicing costs relative to traditional gasoline vehicles in the same segment. To further support early adopters, Green GSM and VinFast are offering support packages that include free charging and a warranty covering up to 7 years or 160,000 km for both the Limo Green and VF 5/Herio Green models.
The initiative aligns with Green GSM’s “5 Green Promises” commitment, which focuses on providing upgraded vehicles, adaptable operating structures, and sustainable income opportunities for driver partners.

At the same time, we expect the event to inspire and help lay the foundation for the next phase of green mobility development in the Philippines.”
Beyond fleet expansion, Green GSM formally launched the Global Green GSM Driver Partner Community in the Philippines. The platform serves as a hub for members to exchange operational knowledge, access policy updates, and receive assistance with registration procedures required to transition to electric mobility. Attendees at the festival were also provided test-drive opportunities and direct consultation regarding electric vehicle performance and maintenance.
Green GSM currently operates electric ride services in major urban hubs across Luzon (including Metro Manila), Central Visayas, and Mindanao. Its service catalog comprises two distinct tiers: Green GSM Car and Green GSM Limo, a 7-seater premium taxi service.
To accelerate adoption across the transport sector, Green GSM is also partnering with local taxi operators through fleet management programs alongside its direct ride-hailing operations.
