Interest-based travel is fundamentally reshaping global mobility, forcing the membership economy to abandon static perk-redemption models in favor of personalized, dynamic service delivery.
Speaking at the 2026 Apsara Conference’s “AI Going Global Growth Summit” in Hangzhou, Jane Zhu, Co-founder and CEO of Dragonpass Group, detailed how artificial intelligence is redefining the global travel and lifestyle experience.
The shift comes as consumers increasingly plan trips around specific experiences—such as concerts, art exhibitions, and sporting events—while seeking deeper emotional value and immersion.
For Dragonpass, a global company connecting over 800 corporate clients with more than 40 million members, this trend has accelerated a transition from manual benefit searching to automated, scenario-based service generation.
Instead of requiring users to manually search for available benefits, conversational AI allows travelers to state their interests and instantly receive tailored itinerary recommendations paired with airport perks, transfers, and local services built around their intended activities.
“AI expands the boundaries of what our services can deliver, while human expertise preserves the warmth of service. Through human-AI collaboration, we can redefine high-quality service experiences,” Zhu stated.
To power this capability, Dragonpass partnered with Alibaba Cloud to launch its AI Airport Concierge, integrating the Qwen large language model framework with Dragonpass’s established global airport service network. The intelligent assistant embeds AI directly into high-frequency travel touchpoints, streamling access to lounge access, transfers, and airport amenities.
- Adoption Milestone: The AI Airport Concierge has served more than 100,000 travelers within eight months of its launch.
- Global Expansion: Dragonpass plans to roll out intelligent travel and lifestyle capabilities beyond airports into key international markets.
- Target Regions: The expansion covers Brazil, South Africa, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Looking ahead, Dragonpass plans to deepen its investment in AI-driven user engagement, focusing on delivering personalized, end-to-end travel and lifestyle experiences for its global member base.
