New Map Alert: VALORANT Adds Yet Another Place to Get Wallbanged Into Oblivion

Riot Games is unleashing Corrode, a new map for VALORANT’s Season 2025 // Act IV, transforming a charming French castle town into a radioactive industrial wasteland.
Set in a crumbling Omega Earth, Corrode mashes up medieval ruins with mining rigs in a twisted monument to tactical gameplay.
With two Spike sites and a classic three-lane setup, the map tones down chaotic ability spam by offering layered defenses and fallback zones.
Corrode launches straight into the competitive pool on June 25, with players suffering 50% less RR loss for two weeks—because losing is fun if it hurts less.
A Corrode-only Swiftplay queue also runs from June 25 to 30, giving players a tourist pass to this toxic resort.
VALORANT also debuts the Phaseguard Collection, a skinline that screams “futuristic mall cop” with weapons like the Vandal, Outlaw, Ghost, Bulldog, and the Splitter melee.
The Act IV Battlepass drops June 25, packed with goodies like the “Kill All Radiants” card, Bonsai Gun Buddy, and ATLAS // CMD Vandal for those who want stylish violence.
The Phaseguard Collection becomes available a day later, on June 26, because Riot knows you need 24 hours to open your wallet.
