10 Things You Need to Know About AXA Week for Good 2025

AXA Philippines celebrated its flagship AXA Week for Good 2025 with a nationwide show of volunteerism that blended community service, wellness, and creativity.
1. It’s part of a global program.
AXA Week for Good is the company’s annual celebration of AXA Hearts in Action, a worldwide employee volunteering initiative.
2. Hundreds of employees joined.
A total of 873 AXA employees participated across the country, including 544 first-time volunteers and 329 returning ones.
3. The headquarters became a hub.
AXA’s Makati headquarters hosted an NGO Fair with 17 partner groups, offering sustainable products and advocacy discussions on education, mental health, and environmental care.
4. A podcast series brought new voices.
Partners from iVolunteer Philippines, Juan for Mental Health, the Philippine Red Cross, and other groups shared insights on growth, resilience, and service through recorded conversations.
5. Workshops mixed service with creativity.
Employees handcrafted macramé pouches, produced eco-friendly doormats, and packed educational kits for children in underserved communities.
6. Children from Payatas joined the fun.
Kids from the Payatas Orione Foundation spent a joyful day at the AXA headquarters, enjoying storytelling, play, and learning with volunteers.
7. Wellness walks spread nationwide.
In Cebu and Davao, employees came together for the “One Great AXA Walk,” a community wellness event that emphasized solidarity and shared purpose.
8. Volunteers planted 1,250 seedlings.
In Siniloan, Laguna, AXA partnered with Fostering Education & Environment for Development to reforest parts of the Sierra Madre.
9. Communities received practical support.
Beyond donations of food and school supplies, AXA volunteers taught financial literacy workshops on budgeting, saving, and investing.
10. The company is close to its yearly goal.
With 1,128 unique volunteers engaged to date, AXA has already reached 70 percent of its AXA Hearts in Action target for the year.
Sharon Hernandez, AXA Philippines’ chief human resources officer, said the week reflects both the passion of employees and the company’s culture of empathy and advocacy.
