Robinsons Land at 45: From Malls to Milestones, and Now the Country’s Best Developer

The lights at the 13th PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards had barely dimmed when Robinsons Land Corporation stepped into the spotlight with a haul of trophies.
Best Developer in the Philippines. Best Luxury Developer. Best Sustainable Developer. Best Developer in Luzon.
It was not just another victory lap—it was the fourth straight year that Robinsons Land claimed the country’s top developer honor, proving that consistency in real estate is built over decades, not projects.
The triumph came as the company marked its 45th anniversary, a reminder that it has been shaping Filipino spaces since 1980, from malls and hotels to offices and entire estates.
But the night was not just about the corporation. Lance Y. Gokongwei, the soft-spoken leader at the helm of JG Summit Holdings and Chairman of RLC, received the first-ever Life Achievement Award. His career-long influence over Philippine real estate was recognized with a standing ovation.
On stage, RLC President and CEO Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio framed the wins as part of a larger mission: “RLC continues to build with excellence, ingenuity, and impact—shaping a future where every space reflects our mission to build better lives.”
The awards highlighted projects that read like a blueprint of modern living. The Residences at The Westin Manila was crowned Best Completed Condo Development, bringing a global hotel brand’s wellness philosophy into everyday homes.
SYNC along C5 was recognized as the Best Mid-End Condo Development, tapping into the dreams of young professionals. Le Pont Residences earned praise for fusing high-rise luxury with EDGE-certified sustainability.
Outside Metro Manila, the footprint widened. Mantawi Residences in Cebu redefined premium living with expansive units and landscaped gardens. Sierra Valley Gardens in Rizal was hailed for its eco-friendly design, while Springdale Baliwag in Bulacan was commended for building safer, community-driven neighborhoods.
Threaded through every win was a theme: sustainability. From passive cooling designs and smart energy controls to open green spaces and walkable communities, Robinsons Land is betting that the future of Filipino real estate will be measured not just in square meters, but in livability.
With over 300 projects nationwide and a pledge to deliver one million square meters of green-certified developments by 2031, the company is positioning itself less as a builder of structures and more as a shaper of lifestyles.
At 45, Robinsons Land is not just marking time. It is using its awards as proof that progress, when purposeful, can outlast any spotlight.
