TP opens second Davao site to boost jobs and digital services in Mindanao

If you live in Mindanao or follow the IT-BPM sector, TP is making a big move that could mean more local jobs and career opportunities. TP in the Philippines, formerly Teleperformance, has officially launched TP Davao Uprise, its second site in Davao City and fourth across Mindanao. The site is designed to scale as needed, serving both domestic and global markets.
The new hub at The Uprise in Felcris Centrale Mall includes operational areas, a recruitment center, and recreational spaces such as a gym, karaoke room, and half basketball court. TP says the facility will help it deliver world-class service while supporting employee growth and skills development.
The opening drew local and regional leaders including Mindanao Development Authority, Davao Chamber of Commerce, ICT Davao, DICT Davao, and IBPAP. MinDA Chair Leo Magno noted that the IT-BPM sector is a fast-growing part of the economy and investments like TP’s create future-ready jobs while signaling to other investors that Mindanao is open for business.
Davao City is home to over 100,000 IT-BPM professionals, the largest talent pool in Mindanao. The workforce is known for English proficiency, low attrition, and expertise in travel and hospitality services. TP says the new site strengthens its ability to deploy specialized teams while providing meaningful employment and career mobility.
The city’s recognition as a Digital Cities Awardee and a DICT–IBPAP Center of Excellence, along with its top 10 ranking in the DTI’s Competitiveness Index, reinforces Davao as a digital and business hub.
Strategically located in the city center, TP Davao Uprise offers access to the growing local workforce and consumers, while connecting to Francisco Bangoy International Airport and Sasa Wharf. Future infrastructure projects like the High Priority Bus System and Mindanao Railway will further boost connectivity.
TP Davao Uprise complements the company’s existing Mindanao operations in SM Davao, Cagayan de Oro City, and General Santos City. Together, these locations make Mindanao a key delivery cluster for the fast-growing digital services sector, supporting both local employment and the national economy.
