Lycoris Recoil invades Nikke with free characters, rhythm game, and new story

If you log in this week, you can grab a free anime hacker and jump into a brand-new storyline inside one of mobile gaming’s biggest shooters. The GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE x Lycoris Recoil collaboration is now live, bringing fan-favorite characters, free rewards, and fresh gameplay to millions of players worldwide.

Published by Level Infinite and developed by SHIFT UP, GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE is crossing over with the critically acclaimed TV anime Lycoris Recoil in a limited-time event called “Lie Cause Recoil.” The story drops Chisato Nishikigi, Takina Inoue, and Kurumi into the battlefield alongside the Nikkes of Cafe Sweety to take down an unknown assailant.

Chisato arrives as an SSR unit known as the “Strongest Lycoris Agent of All Time.” Takina joins as another SSR with her calm, results-driven combat style. Kurumi, the mysterious hacker known as “Walnut,” is available as a free SR unit through the Kurumi Login Bonus, along with recruitment tickets and training materials.

This is not just another banner drop. Players can explore anime-inspired areas in the Outpost, including Kurumi’s private room, and dive into a Music Mini Game called Lyco Reco Beats that tests your rhythm skills for rewards. Free sportswear costumes for Chisato and Takina are unlockable through event quests, while premium outfits are tied to the Event Pass.

The update also unlocks Campaign Chapters 43 and 44 and adds Hall 2 to the Solo Raid Museum, featuring bosses Alteisen, Modernia, and Storm Bringer. Players can now switch to Challenge Mode even after unlocking No Limit Mode, plus preview the next weekly buff and its duration.
