LG wants your TV to double as wall art at CES 2026

Tired of a giant black rectangle killing your vibe when the TV is off? LG Electronics is betting you’d rather see a masterpiece instead. At CES 2026, LG is launching the new LG Gallery TV, designed to look less like a screen and more like curated wall art.
The big idea is simple: turn your TV into a canvas when you are not binge watching. The LG Gallery TV pairs with the LG Gallery+ service, which offers more than 4,500 pieces of content that refresh monthly. Think fine art, cinematic scenes, game visuals, and animations you can match to your mood or your living room aesthetic.
Built for interior conscious consumers, the TV features a slim, flush mount design and customizable magnetic frames. It comes in 55 and 65 inch models and includes internal memory so you can store your favorite visuals. LG says its Gallery Mode was developed with museum curators to fine tune color and brightness to mimic the texture of real artwork. A specialized screen reduces glare and reflections, and the display automatically adjusts to changing ambient light throughout the day.
When it is time for Netflix or gaming, the Gallery TV shifts into full performance mode with MiniLED technology and the α 7 AI Processor. That means 4K visuals and AI Sound Pro with Virtual 9.1.2ch audio.
The LG Gallery+ service pushes personalization further. You can generate your own images using Generative AI, display personal photos, and add background music. Users can pick built in tracks or stream playlists via Bluetooth. The service is available across the entire LG TV lineup, not just the new model.
LG will showcase the full Art TV lineup at booth #15004 at the Las Vegas Convention Center during CES 2026.
For anyone trying to make their space feel less like a tech showroom and more like home, LG is making the TV part of the decor, not the distraction.
