Pay your port fees from your sofa as MYEG PH and PPA go fully digital

Imagine paying port fees from your phone without lining up at a cashier or hopping between banks. That’s now possible as MYEG Philippines, Inc. (MYEG PH) and the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) roll out a new digital payment system for port transactions.
The partnership integrates MYEG’s Electronic Payment Collection System (EPCS) into PPA’s e-Payment Portal (EPP), letting stakeholders pay fees like PPA accreditation, Permit to Operate, Transport Accreditation, Cargo Handling and Wharfage, Passenger Terminal, and other port charges online.
Before, payments were limited to port cashiers or the Land Bank of the Philippines’ LinkBiz Portal. The new system opens over 100,000 payment channels nationwide, including e-wallets GCash, ShopeePay, PalawanPay, Maya, and GrabPay; credit and debit cards like Visa, Mastercard, and JCB; online bank transfers via BDO, BPI, RCBC, and Maybank; and over-the-counter options at 7‑Eleven, Cebuana Lhuillier, Palawan Pawnshop, Bayad, SM Store, Robinsons, Tambunting Pawnshop, and RD Pawnshop. QRPh support also allows payments through apps from UnionBank, Metrobank, Chinabank, Security Bank, GoTyme, MariBank, and AllBank.
This upgrade targets businesses that keep the Philippine ports moving: shipping lines, terminal operators, importers, exporters, freight forwarders, trucking firms, and private port service providers. These users routinely pay for cargo handling, gate passes, leases, and port services through platforms like ACTS, WebTrack, and the PPA e-Payment Portal. Digitizing payments slashes processing times, cuts unnecessary trips to cashier offices, and keeps goods moving faster.
For businesses and the public, this means paying port-related fees anytime, anywhere, without delays. Faster transactions could translate to smoother logistics, quicker cargo clearance, and potentially lower costs that ripple down to consumers.
MYEG PH has been delivering eGovernment services in Malaysia and the Philippines for 20 years, while PPA manages major seaports nationwide under the Department of Transportation, ensuring safe, efficient, and competitive maritime trade. This digital leap makes paying at the port as simple as tapping your phone.
