YGG Play bets on a trading game that looks nothing like finance

YGG Play has partnered with Roach Racing Club to integrate the simulated trading game into its launchpad, turning market prediction into a competitive, race-driven experience aimed at highly engaged crypto-native players.
Under the collaboration, Roach Racing Club will embed YGG Play quests directly into its core gameplay, allowing YGG community members to earn rewards by actively participating rather than passively farming. The structure is designed to increase player retention while driving sustained onchain activity within the game’s economy.
Roach Racing Club operates on the Abstract chain and blends real-time market movements with skill-based mechanics, positioning each match as a head-to-head race where accurate trading decisions push players closer to the finish line. By tying progression to live price action, the game targets degens, streamers, and competitive players seeking fast-paced, high-signal gameplay.
Since its launch on Abstract, Roach Racing Club has distributed more than $1.5 million in cumulative winnings, attracted over 450,000 players, and recorded more than 9.2 million races. These metrics place it among the most active titles in the Abstract ecosystem, supported by frequent feature updates and a consistently active competitive community.
YGG Play will support the title through smart contract-enforced revenue sharing, coordinated player acquisition, marketing initiatives, and key opinion leader activation. Several prominent Abstract ecosystem creators are set to promote Roach Racing Club quests through YGG Play, expanding its reach among Web3-native audiences.
The partnership also extends into YGG Play’s flagship title, LOL Land, which will introduce a Roach Racing-themed board on January 29, 2026. Additional in-game events are in development, following a previous collaboration that delivered a custom YGG Stadium map and more than $10,000 in prizes.
The deal marks YGG Play’s first partnership announcement of 2026, as the publisher signals plans to onboard more developers and expand its lineup of crypto-native games in the months ahead.
