Connectbase on March 3 announced a strategic collaboration with Converge ICT Solutions Inc. to expand its connectivity ecosystem in Southeast Asia and strengthen global access to the fast-growing Philippine digital market.

Through the collaboration, Converge will integrate its fiber and subsea infrastructure into the Connectbase platform, allowing carriers and enterprises worldwide to access its network through automated, application programming interface-driven connectivity commerce.

The partnership broadens Connectbase’s global footprint into the Philippines while enabling Converge to offer its high-performance pure-fiber network to a wider international base of buyers seeking digital infrastructure solutions.

Carriers and enterprise customers will be able to instantly check serviceability, pricing and availability across millions of Philippine locations, replacing traditional manual and email-based sourcing processes with real-time automated transactions.

Connectbase CEO Ben Edmond said rising demand from artificial intelligence workloads, regional cloud expansion and cross-border enterprise operations across Southeast Asia has made automated, location-specific connectivity a critical infrastructure requirement.

Edmond said Converge has developed a high-quality fiber network while Connectbase provides the digital framework that allows global buyers to access Philippine connectivity assets directly through its platform.

Converge operates one of the country’s most modern end-to-end pure-fiber networks, spanning more than 896,000 kilometers and covering nearly 60 percent of Philippine households.

The company has also invested in major trans-Pacific subsea cable systems linking the Philippines directly to the United States, Singapore and Hong Kong to improve regional and global network resilience.

Converge CEO and co-founder Dennis Anthony H. Uy described the collaboration as a milestone in integrating the Philippines into the global connectivity economy by enabling international carriers and enterprises to engage with its network in seconds instead of days.

By joining the Connectbase Seller Cloud, Converge will shift from manual quotation processes to automated responses, allowing faster participation in global requests for proposals, improved visibility among international buyers and reduced order fallout through precise location-level serviceability data.

Buyers will gain access to high-quality fiber connectivity and resilient low-latency routes that are essential for cloud services, enterprise operations and business process outsourcing traffic.

Edmond added that the collaboration enables buyers to shorten sourcing cycles from weeks to minutes while giving sellers immediate insight into global demand without additional sales overhead, reinforcing Connectbase’s position as a platform connecting global buyers to trusted infrastructure across major regions.
