Festival Mall ushered in the Christmas season with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 6, unveiling a giant Christmas tree presented in partnership with POP MART.

The launch marked the start of “The Magic of Christmas” celebration at the Alabang destination, putting a fresh creative spin on a familiar holiday tradition.

The POP MART partnership places character-based creativity at the center of Festival Mall’s Christmas story. A global designer toy company connecting artists and fans through collectibles and immersive experiences, POP MART brings a spirit of discovery to the season’s centerpiece.

The collaboration gives fans a shared point of interest and offers families and friends another reason to visit together. It connects the tradition of gathering around a Christmas tree with contemporary creative culture, while keeping the experience rooted in togetherness.

The spirit of giving is also at the heart of the celebration. Festival Mall held its 4th Season of Sharing on November 4, 2026, in partnership with the City Government of Muntinlupa and its Social Services Department. The initiative welcomed children endorsed by the city government for a special day at the mall, complete with meals, arcade games, amusement rides, and Christmas gifts such as toys, clothing, shoes, school supplies, and other essentials.

More than a holiday outreach activity, Season of Sharing reflects Festival Mall’s commitment to being an active and caring community partner. Through the initiative, the mall hopes to share not only gifts but also meaningful experiences and memories, reminding everyone that the spirit of Christmas is also about extending kindness and making others feel valued.

For Yvette Dizon, General Manager of Festival Mall, the initiative is especially meaningful because of the difference it can make in the lives of children and families.

“For me, if we can make even one child smile, give someone a reason to feel happy, or make a family’s Christmas a little more special, then we’ve already done something meaningful,” she shared.

Christmas activities through year-end

Among the season’s family-friendly attractions is the Santa Meet and Greet, happening on weekends throughout December. Children and families can look forward to meeting Santa Claus, taking photos, and creating festive holiday memories.

Festival Mall also brings back Rhythm & Lights 4 on December 12, following a one-year hiatus. The much-anticipated Christmas musical celebration reunites music and entertainment in one festive gathering, giving shoppers and visitors another opportunity to come together and enjoy the season through live performances.
