Cement manufacturing plant halfway done

The construction of SHERA’s first plant in the Philippines is now 60% complete. This facility, located in Mabalacat, Pampanga, is set to commence operations in January 2025.

SHERA has invested 2 billion pesos to establish this 5-hectare site, marking its first production hub outside Thailand.

The plant will have a capacity of 240,000 tons of fiber cement annually, catering to local and export markets.

SHERA’s executives, including President Thunnop Jumpsari, are committed to ensuring worker safety and utilizing world-class materials.

Chairman Ongek Taechamahaphant expressed optimism about the plant’s impact on the Philippine market.

The facility will create approximately 150 jobs and provide eco-friendly, durable construction materials.

SHERA’s products are designed to withstand the Philippines’ climate while reducing environmental impact through sustainable manufacturing practices.

This expansion coincides with SHERA’s 50th anniversary, highlighting its dedication to green building solutions.
