Cartier Privé Unveils the Tank à Guichets: A Modern Tribute to a 1928 Icon

Cartier’s prestigious Privé collection continues to honor the brand’s rich horological legacy with the reintroduction of the Tank à Guichets, a model first launched in 1928.

This limited-edition timepiece features a unique digital-style display for hours and minutes, blending innovation with the brand’s heritage.

The new Tank à Guichets stays true to its iconic design, with hour and minute apertures at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock, and a winding crown positioned at 12 o’clock.

Powered by the Calibre 9755 MC, a hand-wound movement with jumping hours and dragging minutes, the piece showcases Cartier’s precision engineering.

The watch’s case balances satin finishes with polished brancards, while the central face comes in brushed gold or platinum for added sophistication.

The Tank à Guichets is offered in four versions, including three faithful to the original in platinum, rose gold, and yellow gold, with a limited 200-piece edition featuring oblique apertures.

This remarkable timepiece continues Cartier’s commitment to both artistry and craftsmanship, making it a sought-after addition to the Privé collection.
