HONOR Philippines has announced the launch of its latest flagship smartphone, the HONOR 400 Pro 5G, which will debut on August 2 with a powerful 200MP Super Sensing AI Camera System.
The upcoming device was recently showcased at The New Hue’s Video Music Awards 2025, where its camera capabilities were put to the test amid a celebration of Original Pilipino Music (OPM).
The partnership between HONOR Philippines and The New Hue reflects a growing synergy between cutting-edge technology and the Filipino creative industry.

He emphasized that the brand’s support for the OPM scene is aligned with the launch of the HONOR 400 Pro 5G, which aims to cater to a new generation of creators.
Held on July 27, The New Hue Video Music Awards honored both mainstream and emerging Filipino musical talents, with categories such as Song of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and Group Artist of the Year.
Artists like Cup of Joe, Maki, Amiel Sol, Philia, Hev Abi, and Janine Teñoso graced the event, creating a vibrant backdrop to highlight the smartphone’s camera performance.
The HONOR 400 Pro 5G features a sophisticated 200MP Super Sensing AI Camera System designed for professionals and enthusiasts alike.
It includes a 50MP telephoto lens equipped with a Sony IMX856 sensor, providing 3x optical zoom and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharp and stable zoomed-in shots.
A standout feature is the AI Enhanced Portrait function, which enables users to capture highly detailed and color-accurate images, even in complex lighting conditions.
The smartphone also features an AI Super Zoom capability, powered by AIGC technology, offering up to 50x zoom for high-quality long-distance photography.
According to DXOMARK’s 2024 industry report, AI-assisted cameras are becoming increasingly vital in mobile photography, enabling devices like the HONOR 400 Pro to achieve professional-grade results without bulky equipment.
HONOR’s emphasis on mobile photography innovation comes as the market continues to demand more from smartphone imaging systems, especially for content creators active on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
The device is expected to be a strong contender in the competitive mid-to-high-end smartphone segment in the Philippines, where photography features have become a top priority for consumers.
