Vingroup Worlds Best Company September 2026

Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup has advanced 477 positions to rank 340th on the TIME World’s Best Companies 2026 list, placing it among the top 400 corporate entities globally.

The company earned an overall score of 81 out of 100 on the 1,000-company roster, marking its second consecutive year as the sole representative from Vietnam on the index.

The annual evaluation, jointly executed by New York-based TIME magazine and market research firm Statista, assesses companies across three criteria: revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) transparency.

Vingroup earned an “Outstanding” rating in the Revenue Growth category following a strong financial performance in the first half of 2026. During H1 2026, the Group posted consolidated net revenue of VND 222.9 trillion, representing a 72% increase compared to the same period in 2025, driven primarily by its industrial manufacturing and real estate divisions. Consolidated net profit after tax reached VND 20.904 trillion—a 4.6-fold surge year-over-year—achieving 60% of its full-year financial target.

In the Employee Satisfaction category, Vingroup climbed 496 spots to rank 398th globally. Over its 30-year operational history, the conglomerate has expanded its workforce to approximately 400,000 employees across operations in 12 countries.

The ranking also evaluated Vingroup’s sustainability transparency and ESG implementation across its core subsidiaries and new strategic ventures:

  • VinFast: The electric vehicle unit has become the top-selling automotive brand in Vietnam. For 2026, the brand has set global delivery targets of 300,000 electric vehicles and 1 million electric motorcycles. VinFast previously featured on the TIME100 Most Influential Companies list in 2024 and the Asia-Pacific’s Best Companies list in 2025.
  • Vinhomes: The real estate arm introduced an “ESG++” model for its multi-thousand-hectare developments, expanding standard ESG metrics to include Regeneration and Resilience.
  • Infrastructure and Green Energy: Following a strategic expansion in 2025, VinSpeed is currently constructing two high-speed rail lines—the Ben Thanh–Can Gio line in Ho Chi Minh City and the Hanoi–Quang Ninh line. Meanwhile, energy unit VinEnergo is developing localized green power projects across multiple regions.

The 2026 recognition builds on Vingroup’s debut on the 2025 list, where it became the first Vietnamese entity to qualify for TIME’s global corporate benchmarks.
