Okada Manila is doubling down on reliability and sustainability as it extends its energy partnership with MPower, the retail electricity arm of Manuel V. Pangilinan-led Meralco.

The renewed deal ensures that the 30-hectare luxury resort—complete with gaming floors, hotel suites, and entertainment hubs—remains powered by MPower’s flexible energy solutions.

The signing ceremony in Parañaque highlighted a shared vision: operational excellence built on sustainable practices. Okada Manila President and COO Byron Yip stressed that a steady and eco-conscious power supply is key to delivering the seamless five-star experience that guests expect.

Since first teaming up in 2020, the resort has leaned on MPower not only for reliability but also for optimizing energy use in line with growth and innovation goals.

MPower Head Redel M. Domingo praised Okada Manila for embracing the open electricity market and advancing its sustainability journey, positioning the resort as a trailblazer in the hospitality sector’s shift toward greener operations.

The extension marks more than just a power deal—it underscores how collaborations between energy providers and luxury destinations can drive both economic impact and environmental stewardship in the Philippines.
