A small motorcycle gear store in Pasig is turning heads not just for what it sells, but for how it’s educating riders and quietly building a loyal following through safety vlogs and outreach.
Gabane’s Moto Gear Zone, founded in 2008 by Raul Gabane, began as an online side hustle while he worked as a security guard, eventually evolving into a brick-and-mortar store in Barangay Malinao.
Gabane’s digital content, which emphasizes proper helmet use and gear education, has helped him grow a Facebook audience of over 39,000 followers and attract customers from across Metro Manila.
Beyond business, Gabane and his wife use their vlog to showcase product demos, build trust, and draw attention to road safety—turning what started as a hobby into a key pillar of their brand.
To make riding gear more accessible, the store also partnered with UnaCash to offer in-store financing, streamlining purchases through self-service approval.
Gabane’s advocacy doesn’t stop with sales—he leads charity rides, partners with rider clubs, and documents donation drives to help disaster-hit communities and schoolchildren in the provinces.
Through helmet fittings, fundraising, and house-to-house outreach, Gabane proves that true rider culture isn’t just about speed—it’s about service.
