Shanghai MicuRx Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. will present 15 new research datasets at the 2025 European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID Global) in Vienna from April 11 to 15.
The conference is a key platform for scientific exchange in clinical microbiology, infectious diseases, and infection control.
MicuRx will highlight two core products: Contezolid and MRX-5, with a focus on MRX-5’s potential for treating nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) pulmonary disease.
Among the four MRX-5-related studies are preclinical data and Phase 1 results showing its efficacy against Mycobacterium abscessus (MAB) infections.
MRX-5 will be featured in oral and poster presentations, with a key session on April 12 focused on pharmacokinetic evaluations in murine models.
Additional studies include MRX-5’s pharmacokinetics, drug-drug interactions, and safety profiles, all presented in poster sessions on April 13.
