Teleperformance (TP) has partnered with the Bacolod City Government to roll out a TESDA-accredited skills training program aimed at prepping students and near-hires for the BPO industry.
The Memorandum of Agreement formalizes the adoption of the @SENSO Life Skills Academy Training Program by Bacolod City College.
The program integrates a 10-day simulation-based instruction, industry-led training, certification, and job placement.
It will be implemented through a designated hub by TESDA and the local government under frameworks like the Enterprise-Based Education Training (EBET) and Micro-Credentials Program.
TP claims the initiative will enhance the employability of graduates while conveniently stocking its own talent pipeline.
The move also aligns with Bacolod City’s dream of becoming a “supercity,” apparently built on outsourced customer service calls.
This partnership follows TP’s recent MOAs with the State University of Northern Negros and Bacolod City College for similar “community empowerment” efforts.
TP says the collaboration underscores its commitment to job creation, economic stimulation, and the noble art of corporate self-interest disguised as social good.
