Filipino households across 11 provinces in South Luzon and the Visayas can now apply for and manage high-speed internet services locally, as Globe AT HOME rolls out its Broadband Microshops into underserved and developing communities.

The expansion targets fast-growing residential areas, allowing families to check coverage, select broadband packages, and receive customer support without traveling to major commercial centers.

The newly established touchpoints cover 11 provinces across two major island groups:

  • South Luzon: Batangas, Laguna, Quezon, Camarines Norte, and Sorsogon

  • Visayas: Cebu, Leyte, Eastern Samar, Iloilo, Antique, and Aklan

Broadband Microshops function as neighborhood service hubs. Staffed by dedicated representatives, the locations offer residents direct guidance on Globe Fiber options tailored to home learning, remote work, online business, and daily digital tasks.

“At Globe, we believe meaningful customer experience begins with accessibility. By bringing Broadband Microshops directly into communities, we make it easier for families to access reliable connectivity and receive the personalized support they need every step of the way,” said Adonis Evangelista, General Manager for South Luzon at Globe.

At each microshop, residents can perform three core tasks:

  • Explore available Globe AT HOME broadband plans

  • Check Globe Fiber service coverage for their specific street or neighborhood

  • Access hands-on assistance throughout the setup and subscription process

The rollout forms part of Globe’s broader digital inclusion strategy to narrow connectivity gaps outside major metropolitan areas, helping more provincial households participate in the digital economy under its #GlobeOfGood initiative.

“Reliable internet access opens opportunities for communities to learn, work, and grow. Through Broadband Microshops, we are bringing connectivity and customer support closer to the families we serve across the Visayas, helping more Filipinos benefit from the digital economy,” said Jimbo Cordero, General Manager for Visayas at Globe.
