Bentley’s Speed Six Continuation Series and Continental GTC Speed has arrived!

In a celebration of unparalleled craftsmanship and historical reverence, Bentley Motors proudly announces the debut of the Bentley Speed Six Continuation Series, a testament to the brand’s illustrious legacy and commitment to automotive artistry.
Following the triumphant completion of twelve exquisite Bentley 4½ Litre Supercharged ‘Blower’ Continuation models—the world’s first pre-war continuation series—this latest endeavor promises to enchant connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike.

A Journey Through Time and Innovation
The Speed Six Continuation Series draws inspiration from two iconic originals: Bentley’s own Speed Six, GU409, and the legendary ‘Old Number 3’, which graced the challenging circuits of the 1930 Le Mans 24 Hour race, piloted by racing luminaries Sammy Davis and Clive Dunfee. The generosity of its current custodian allowed the Mulliner team to meticulously gather invaluable insights into dimensions, materials, and components, ensuring that each new creation resonates with authenticity and precision.
Introduced in 1928 as a more spirited iteration of the Bentley 6½ Litre, the Speed Six was engineered to unleash exhilarating power through twin SU carburettors, an elevated compression ratio, and a high-performance camshaft. A contemporary road test in The Morning Post heralded it as “one of the most remarkable engineering achievements of the century,” praising its harmonious balance of speed, silence, and flexibility—a sentiment that echoes through time.
With only 182 Speed Six models crafted between 1928 and 1930, this distinguished lineage is further immortalized by its triumphs at Le Mans in both 1929 and 1930, solidifying its revered status in Bentley’s storied racing heritage.

Introducing the Continental GTC Speed: A Masterpiece of Performance and Elegance
In tandem with this historic unveiling, Bentley Motors is thrilled to present the fourth generation Continental GTC Speed, now adorned in a striking Jetstream hue. This model continues a 21-year tradition within the Continental GT family, redefining the quintessential fusion of supercar performance with handcrafted luxury that seamlessly integrates into everyday life.
At the heart of this new Continental GTC Speed lies an innovative Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain, artfully merging a robust 4.0-litre V8 engine—delivering an impressive 600 PS (584 bhp)—with a dynamic 190 PS (187 bhp) electric motor. The result is nothing short of breathtaking for an open-air Grand Tourer, offering an exhilarating driving experience that transcends expectations.
The convertible marvel features Bentley’s signature seven-bow fabric roof system, available in an exquisite palette of seven exterior colors—including luxurious tweed—capable of deploying in just 19 seconds at speeds up to 48 km/h. Enhanced by a revolutionary 400-volt electrical architecture, this model showcases the most advanced suite of powertrain technology available in luxury automotive today, achieving remarkably low emissions of 29 g/km CO2 alongside an electric range of 80 km on the WLTP drive cycle.
As Bentley Motors continues to push boundaries while honoring its rich heritage, these remarkable vehicles invite discerning individuals to partake in an exclusive journey—one where history meets modernity, performance dances with luxury, and every drive becomes an indelible memory etched in time.
