Agoda Bets Big on India’s Hospitality Hype in Shameless Bid for Premium Market

Agoda has partnered with Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) to offer 250 of India’s most iconic hotels on its booking platform.
This move adds IHCL’s brands — Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, Ginger, and Claridges Collection — to Agoda’s inventory, boosting its premium offerings globally.
The collaboration aligns with Agoda’s 20th anniversary and its goal to attract affluent travelers from Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
IHCL plans to scale its portfolio to over 700 hotels by 2030 and sees this alliance as a gateway to digitally savvy international customers.
India’s hospitality sector is forecasted to hit USD 542 billion by 2030, making this tie-up a strategic play for market share and visibility.
