Wadhwani Foundation helps Filipino youth gain real jobs

Finding a job is hard. Finding a job that matches your skills is even harder. Wadhwani Foundation is tackling that gap in the Philippines.
The Foundation is piloting a local skilling program in Metro Manila, linking learners directly with employers and training institutions. The goal is simple: make sure training leads to real jobs. The pilot will test what works before expanding to other parts of the country.
At the same time, the nationwide Ignite program continues, helping students and aspiring entrepreneurs explore business careers and build practical skills at zero cost.
“All programs remain fully active and free for partners and beneficiaries,” said Ajay Kela, CEO and Board Member. “The Mega Manila pilot strengthens job outcomes locally, while Ignite supports student entrepreneurship nationwide.”
By combining local pilots with national programs, the Foundation is turning ambition into real opportunities and giving young people a clear path from learning to employment.
Founded by Silicon Valley entrepreneur Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, Wadhwani Foundation operates across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Its focus is on job creation, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
For Filipino youth, this pilot shows that skills can now directly lead to jobs and opportunities, without waiting for government programs or corporate solutions.
