Waifu Sweeper Goes Live: Skill Meets Gacha in YGG Play’s Latest Game

If you’ve ever wanted to mix strategy with swoon-worthy anime companions, Waifu Sweeper drops tonight. YGG Play and Raitomira launch the game on January 30, 2026, at 8:00PM SGT, putting players in control of uncovering monsters and treasures on a Minesweeper-style board—while collecting gacha “waifus” as avatars and companions.
Unlike typical gacha games that lean on luck, Waifu Sweeper is skill-first. Players influence their rewards with strategy, thanks to the “Skill to Earn” system designed by Raitomira co-founders Hun Pascal Park and Karan Singh.
Park worked on Blizzard hits like StarCraft II, Overwatch, and Hearthstone, and contributed to PUBG Mobile at Tencent. Singh also brings PUBG Mobile publishing experience and four years of mobile game project management.
