Caviar sells iPhone Air with 24k gold, ₱600,000+ price tag

Luxury device maker Caviar has unveiled a limited custom version of Apple’s iPhone Air that turns a smartphone into a collectible art piece. The Dubai based company drew design inspiration from Art Nouveau and the decorative style of Alphonse Mucha.
The version built on an iPhone Air with 1TB storage costs $11,213, which converts to roughly ₱620,000. It was produced as a single unit, according to Caviar. The company says each component is assembled by hand to ensure precision and exclusivity.
The design includes a back panel wrapped in premium calfskin in a neutral tone. It also features mother of pearl inlays and 24k gold decorative elements. Fine engraving and hand finished detailing complete the premium look, making it more of a collector item than a mass market device.
Caviar also lists pricing for other iPhone 17 Air storage options. A 256GB model with 12GB RAM is priced at $794.99 or about ₱44,000. A 512GB version with 12GB RAM costs $889.99 or around ₱49,000. These reflect standard configurations before customization.
The company is also promoting a separate high end variant tied to the iPhone 17 Pro Max called Goldfish, showing its continued focus on ultra luxury builds around Apple hardware.
Products like this target collectors and high net worth buyers who value exclusivity and craftsmanship. For most consumers, the base iPhone remains the practical choice. For a small segment, the device becomes a statement piece built around premium materials and limited production.
