Crypto4A Submits First Quantum-Safe HSM for FIPS 140-3 Level 3 Certification

Crypto4A Technologies has submitted its QASM hardware cryptographic core and v5.0 firmware to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification, marking a world-first achievement in quantum-safe security.

The QASM core, powering Crypto4A’s QxHSM™ and QxEDGE™ products, is the first Hardware Security Module (HSM) to include all NIST-certified Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) algorithms, including FIPS 203, 204, 205, and LMS.

Designed and manufactured in Canada, Crypto4A’s quantum-safe HSMs are trusted by global chipmakers, cloud providers, government agencies, and enterprises.

The company’s FPGA-based, crypto-agile design supports seamless firmware updates, ensuring ongoing protection against quantum threats without hardware replacements.

This milestone positions Crypto4A at the forefront of post-quantum security, enabling organizations to safeguard critical assets as quantum computing advances.
