Corporate Guilt Parade? CSR Week Tries to Save Capitalism With Kindness in Makati

The League of Corporate Foundations will hold the 2025 CSR Conference and Expo from July 1 to 3 at Dusit Thani Manila and Glorietta Activity Center, spotlighting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as tools for sustainable business.

Themed “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity for Shared Prosperity,” the event marks the peak of CSR Week, gathering leaders from private firms, government, and civil society for sessions on inclusive business practices.

Program topics range from mental health integration to financial inclusion, urban ecology, informal economies, and transforming education for marginalized groups.

Senator Risa Hontiveros will headline the event with a keynote on DEI in nation-building, while journalist Karen Davila will close the program.

Award ceremonies will include the 2025 Guild Awards and the Medal of Recognition for exceptional CSR projects by both LCF members and non-members.

The Expo will also spotlight the LIFE program in Basilan, aimed at tackling child malnutrition through a mix of nutrition, livelihood training, and community capacity-building.

The event is co-presented by Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation and supported by a who’s who of Philippine corporate philanthropists, from Shell and BPI to Jollibee and Unilab.
