Laguna residents in far-flung areas will soon see electric tricycles delivering life-saving medicine right to their doorsteps. Green logistics startup Mober has teamed up with Laguna Governor Sol Aragones to launch electric-powered mobile pharmacies that will expand access to healthcare across the province.
Two electric three-wheeler units will kickstart the program, delivering essential medicines and supplies directly to residents, especially senior citizens and persons with disabilities who struggle to visit health centers. The initiative forms part of Gov. Aragones’ “Akay ni Sol” program, which includes free health cards, district hospital upgrades, and more community pharmacies.
“Healthcare is one of our top priorities, and we are grateful to partners like Mober for helping us bring medical services closer to every Lagunense,” Aragones said.
Mober Founder and CEO Dennis Ng said the collaboration proves that clean mobility can drive real impact. “We’re proud to support local governments through practical uses of our electric fleet. This shows how sustainability and public service can move forward together,” he said.
The program aims to serve as a model for how electric vehicles can power inclusive and eco-friendly healthcare delivery nationwide.
