IBPAP’s Solaia Awards Return to Celebrate IT-BPM Industry’s Brightest

·

Despite global uncertainties, economic shifts, and the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI), the Philippine IT and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) sector remains on a strong growth trajectory. The industry generated US$38 billion in revenues in 2024 and now employs over 1.82 million Filipinos—proof of its resilience, innovation, and the country’s global competitiveness.

This standard of excellence will take center stage at Solaia 2025, the IT-BPM industry’s premier awards event, organized by the IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP). Now in its second year, Solaia honors the most progressive companies, groundbreaking innovations, and transformative partnerships shaping the future of the IT-BPM sector.

“The Solaia is more than a celebration—it’s a reminder that the Philippine IT-BPM industry remains unshaken in the face of global headwinds. We continue to lead with resilience, skill, and a world-class workforce that is renowned on the global stage,” said IBPAP President and CEO Jack Madrid.

This year’s Solaia Awards expands to seven core categories, including two new ones that spotlight emerging growth areas:

• BPM Company of the Year

• Global Capability Center of the Year

• Technology Company of the Year

• NEW: Healthcare Information Management Services Company of the Year

• NEW: Digital Creative Company of the Year

• SME Company of the Year

• Company for Regional Development of the Year

In addition, three special recognitions will be presented:

Notably, Accenture and Foundever also ranked among the Best Workplaces in the Philippines™ 2025, securing the 3rd and 14th spots respectively in the large enterprise category.

Adding to this year’s highlights, IBPAP and Great Place To Work® will unveil the inaugural Philippines Best Workplaces in IT-BPM™ 2025—celebrating companies that exemplify high-trust, high-performance cultures.

Solaia 2025 will be held on June 11, 2025, with nominations now open and undergoing evaluation by an esteemed panel of judges.
