Sophos has unveiled a major upgrade to its Security Operations portfolio, introducing new identity protection tools, expanded advisory services, and advanced AI-driven threat detection designed to help organizations stay ahead of increasingly complex cyberattacks.

The announcement marks a key milestone in Sophos’ integration of Secureworks, which it acquired earlier this year for $859 million.

Central to this evolution is the launch of Sophos Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR), a new system that strengthens defenses against identity-based attacks, one of the fastest-growing forms of cybercrime.

The company also introduced Sophos Advisory Services, which provides penetration testing and advanced security assessments powered by Sophos X-Ops intelligence.

Sophos has further integrated the Secureworks Counter Threat Unit with its global X-Ops team, enhancing dark web monitoring, law enforcement collaboration, and real-time tracking of cyber adversaries.

The updated portfolio also introduces new AI assistants for security analysts and streamlined endpoint protection integrated with Secureworks’ Taegis MDR and XDR platforms.

According to Sophos Chief Product Officer Raja Patel, these advancements redefine what it means to be a trusted cybersecurity partner.

The enhancements aim to deliver faster detection, stronger defenses, and measurable security outcomes for over 75,000 organizations worldwide.
