Explore Moon Cards: A Memecoin Trading Card Game on Telegram

·

GAMEE, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands and a pioneer in Web3 gaming, today announced the launch of Moon Cards, a first-of-its-kind trading card game (TCG) on Telegram that integrates memecoin performance into gameplay mechanics.

By merging TCGs mechanics with market data, Moon Cards introduces an interactive and dynamic gameplay experience to the Telegram app in which players collect, merge, and battle using trading game cards that are tied to the value of real-world memecoins. Join the Moon Cards community to start playing for free.

Moon Cards offers both experienced traders and crypto newcomers an innovative way to engage with memecoins from multiple networks, without having to purchase the memecoins themselves. The game allows players to explore meme coin market trends, test their instincts, and make strategic decisions without requiring direct participation in memecoins.

At launch, 150 types of Moon Cards are available for players to collect and merge. Available game cards feature a selection of meme coins from the Solana, TON and Ethereum networks.

Market data drives gameplay environment
Moon Cards introduces a new level of strategic gameplay by linking the strength of in-game cards to memecoin price action and social sentiment. Every card represents a real-world memecoin, with its Star Value and Card Score updated daily based on the card’s market conditions, price movements, and social media traction.

Moon Cards launched today in the first of four phases that will roll out new mechanics over the coming months:

  1. Moonrise (Collect and Merge) – The currently launched early-access phase in which players open card packs, collect Moon Cards, and merge cards of their choosing into random new cards.
  2. Meme Wars (AI Battles) – Will introduce PvE competition against AI-controlled meme bosses in progressively challenging arena encounters.
  3. Degen Showdown (PvP Tournaments) – Will add high-stakes multiplayer tournaments in which memecoin trends influence the outcome of matches, testing players’ market prediction skills.
  4. Lunar Marketplace – Will enable players to buy, sell and trade game cards at the in-game Lunar Marketplace as NFTs, creating an open economy for collectors and competitive players alike.

“Moon Cards is an interactive, strategy game where real-world market moves shape every decision,” said Martin Zakovec, CEO of GAMEE. “Players must integrate with and understand the dynamics of different memecoin communities to choose when to hold, when to merge, and when to make their next move. It’s the most dynamic Web3 trading card game to date.”

Moon Cards is currently available on the Telegram app as invite-only. Approximately 230,000 existing pre-sale participants have been provided with exclusive referral codes to grant new players access to the game. This enables early adopters who participated in the pre-sale to earn additional game card packs by inviting new players, organically expanding the game’s reach.
