Smartphone brand realme has officially launched its GT 7 Series in the Philippines, promising to bring professional-grade imaging and AI-powered editing tools to users looking to elevate their everyday photography and videography.

The new lineup includes the realme GT 7, GT 7T, and an exclusive GT 7 Dream Edition, offering an advanced triple-camera system, ultra-high resolution video recording, and intelligent photo-editing features aimed at content creators, storytellers, and casual users alike.

At the forefront is the realme GT 7, equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) that ensures crisp, detailed images even in low-light environments.

The device features a dedicated 50MP 2x telephoto lens designed for expressive close-ups, from intimate concert portraits to snapshots of beloved pets and personal collectibles.

Rounding out the camera setup is an 8MP ultra-wide lens, ideal for capturing expansive landscapes and group photos with clarity and balance.

realme is also introducing AI Snap Mode with the GT 7, a feature that captures over 50 high-resolution frames per second, allowing users to freeze motion-heavy scenes such as sports plays or spontaneous childlike moments with precision and sharpness.

For video creators, the GT 7 offers cinematic features such as 8K video recording at 30 frames per second, 4K slow-motion at 120fps, and 4K Dolby Vision at 60fps, enabling rich contrast and natural color reproduction in every shot.

Even the 32MP front-facing camera supports 4K recording, making it an ideal companion for content creators who vlog or join high-definition video calls on the go.

realme’s secondary model, the GT 7T, is no slouch either.

It packs a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with OIS, optimized for movement-heavy environments.

The GT 7T also offers creative photography tools like Street Mode with Focus Peaking for precise manual focus, and Interval Shooting for capturing time-lapse scenarios such as shifting weather patterns or multi-outfit travel shoots.

Beyond camera hardware, the GT 7 Series introduces a suite of AI editing tools designed to streamline post-processing.

AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 allows users to easily isolate subjects for collage work or background changes, while AI Eraser and AI Reflection Remover help clean up distracting elements with just a few taps.

Meanwhile, AI Ultra Clarity 2.0 and AI Unblur enhance image sharpness and rescue slightly missed shots, helping ensure that rushed or action-packed moments are still worth saving.

These features work together to create a seamless user experience, enabling both amateur and professional users to craft polished, share-ready content directly from their phones.

According to market trends between 2022 and 2025, smartphone users—especially in the Gen Z and millennial segments—have shown increasing demand for camera-centric devices that integrate both high-end imaging and intelligent editing tools.

realme’s GT 7 Series appears to meet that demand with an all-in-one package.

Priced at PHP 37,999, the realme GT 7 is available in IceSense Black and IceSense Blue.

The GT 7T retails for PHP 29,999, offering a similar feature set at a more affordable price point.

The GT 7 Dream Edition, available in Racing Green, is priced at PHP 39,999 and caters to fans seeking a more premium finish.

All models are now available for purchase through realme’s official Shopee and TikTok stores, as well as its retail outlets nationwide.

The release of the GT 7 Series underlines realme’s ongoing push to empower users with professional-grade tools that fit into a pocket, transforming how memories are captured, edited, and shared in real time.

HUAWEI has officially launched the MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) in the Philippines, a high-powered, all-in-one tablet PC designed for today’s chaotic blend of work deadlines, creative sparks, and binge-worthy distractions.

The device is now available nationwide for PHP 49,999 and comes bundled with accessories worth PHP 28,895 for a limited time.

The MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) positions itself as a 3-in-1 productivity machine, promising to replace your laptop, sketchpad, and entertainment device in one sleek slab of tech.

Marketed as the brand’s most advanced tablet yet, it combines a PC-like work environment, pro-level creative tools, and immersive visuals in a device that weighs less than your average existential crisis.

With the included HUAWEI Glide Keyboard and M-Pencil 3rd Gen, users can turn the tablet into a lightweight workstation, complete with hidden stylus storage and a thermal design that won’t fry your thighs.

Pre-installed with WPS Office 2.0, the tablet offers free lifetime access to WPS Documents, Presentations, and Spreadsheets, making it ideal for editing proposals in coffee shops or pretending to work on the plane.

For those with handwriting messier than their schedule, the updated HUAWEI Notes app offers AI-powered handwriting enhancement and several brush types—from the no-nonsense 2B Pencil to the drama-queen Calligraphy Brush.

The lasso tool can clean up your chicken-scratch and even turn it into a font that your boss might mistake for actual professionalism.

Creative users aren’t left out either.

The GoPaint app supports 8K resolution canvases using the FangTian Painting Engine, making it perfect for digital painters, animators, and anyone still dreaming of being a Pixar intern.

Brush options like the 3D Oil Paint Brush and Fluid Brush provide realistic textures and painting effects, while animation tools enable frame-by-frame storytelling right from your living room, commute, or panic room.

Paired with the HUAWEI M-Pencil 3rd Gen, which offers over 16,000 levels of pressure sensitivity, drawing on the MatePad feels nearly as satisfying as doodling in the margins of a boring meeting.

On the entertainment front, the 12.2-inch Tandem OLED PaperMatte FullView Display boasts a blinding 2,000-nit peak brightness, a ridiculous contrast ratio, and anti-glare coatings designed to keep your eyes from melting.

Whether you’re watching a movie in broad daylight or hate-watching emails at midnight, the device supports Eye Comfort Modes certified to reduce blue light and retina rage.

Battery life is another strong suit, with a massive 10,100mAh battery offering up to 14 hours of use and fast-charging capabilities that fill the tank in under an hour.

Smart Power Conserve mode adds extra efficiency by keeping the device powered in standby for over a year, perfect for when you “accidentally” ghost your responsibilities.

The MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) also takes multitasking seriously with its Live Multitask feature, allowing users to juggle up to three apps simultaneously—because doomscrolling, replying to emails, and watching K-dramas should absolutely happen all at once.

For buyers acting fast, a freebie bundle worth nearly PHP 29,000 is available, including the HUAWEI Glide Keyboard, M-Pencil 3rd Gen, a HUAWEI Watch Fit 3, a Bluetooth mouse, and a PC-level WPS Office license.

HUAWEI fans can purchase the tablet at Experience Stores, the HUAWEI Online Store, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.

From July 1 to August 18, customers can collect PHP 2,000 discount vouchers on e-commerce platforms and HUAWEI’s own store, giving budget-conscious users one more reason to pretend this is a business expense.

With this launch, HUAWEI continues to blur the lines between work and play—because why settle for one existential crisis when you can manage three side-by-side, in high definition?

  • Because Your Phone Isn’t Expensive Enough: Caviar Unleashes $10K Foldables for People with More Money Than Taste

Because Your Phone Isn’t Expensive Enough: Caviar Unleashes $10K Foldables for People with More Money Than Taste

Luxury gadget customizer Caviar has returned to remind the world that excess isn’t just alive—it’s been bedazzled in 24-karat gold and hand-delivered by a Martian plush elf.

The Russian brand, known for turning already-pricey tech into billionaire playthings, has unveiled its Cabubu Edition of the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7.

If you thought dropping two grand on a foldable phone was wild, buckle up.

The Cabubu Edition of the Galaxy Z Fold7 starts at a casual $10,340, while the Flip7 version demands $8,910—because apparently, exclusivity now comes in the shape of monster elves and planetary backdrops.

These design monstrosities are inspired by “Labubu,” a cult-favorite line of mischievous plush elves created by Hong Kong-Belgian artist Kasing Lung and distributed by Chinese pop culture retailer Pop Mart.

But in true Caviar fashion, they’ve renamed them “Cabubu,” because of course they did.

While the original Labubu figures were cute collectibles meant for display shelves and TikTok unboxings, Caviar’s Cabubu is now the centerpiece of an ultra-luxe smartphone, gleefully frolicking across what they describe as “a textured Martian landscape” on the Fold7, and a “Venus-inspired setting” on the Flip7.

The devices are crafted with 24-karat gold, jewelry enamel, and a total disregard for subtlety.

They resemble the fever dream of a crypto millionaire who fell asleep watching a toy haul and woke up determined to flex harder.

For context, the base model Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7—without the gold, enamel, or toy elf—is expected to retail around $1,899.

So yes, Caviar is charging over five times the price for a device that does exactly the same thing—except now it’s guaranteed to blind passersby in direct sunlight.

Only eight units of each phone will be produced, because the number eight is considered lucky in Chinese culture.

Or maybe because even Caviar realizes there are only so many people willing to blow ten grand on a phone that looks like it came out of a luxury toy factory meltdown.

This is not the first time Caviar has blurred the line between high-end design and outright satire.

Previous offerings have included iPhones made with meteorite fragments, phones encrusted with real teeth (yes, really), and Tesla-themed gadgets no one asked for.

According to a 2023 report by Counterpoint Research, the ultra-premium smartphone market—devices over $1,000—has been steadily growing, driven by demand from affluent consumers in China, the Middle East, and select parts of Europe.

That’s the market Caviar continues to serve: not tech enthusiasts, but status addicts.

Sure, the Cabubu Edition phones have the same processors, folding screens, and cameras as their mass-market Samsung counterparts.

But let’s be honest—no one is buying this to check their email.

They’re buying it to be seen checking their email.

In an age where luxury brands are desperate to appeal to Gen Z’s obsession with collectibles and nostalgia, this grotesque mashup of designer toys and high-end tech feels both ridiculous and somehow inevitable.

It’s what happens when late-stage capitalism takes a long drag from a Pop Mart blind box and decides “what if this was gold?”

In short, Caviar’s latest release is proof that there’s no ceiling to consumer absurdity—only gilded glass ones that fold in half and come with cartoon monsters embossed on the back.

Fingerprint unlock adds a layer of security while enabling quick access and support for encrypted transactions.

The pre-order promotion includes a generous bundle valued at PHP 28,895, consisting of the HUAWEI Glide Keyboard, HUAWEI M-Pencil, HUAWEI WATCH FIT 3, a Bluetooth mouse, and the full WPS Office Suite license.

Early bird buyers can also collect PHP 2,000 worth of vouchers via participating platforms.

The MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) represents HUAWEI’s continued push to redefine productivity and creativity through technology, following a global trend where tablets increasingly serve as full-fledged work and creative tools.

According to IDC’s latest tablet market report, hybrid work and digital content creation are driving demand for high-performance, large-screen tablets globally — a trend HUAWEI appears keen to capitalize on.

As the pre-order period runs through July 17, consumers can take advantage of the promotional bundle to experience a PC-like, yet portable solution that’s tailored for the modern professional.

With this launch, HUAWEI strengthens its position in the tablet market, offering users a versatile tool that bridges the gap between laptops and traditional tablets.

At the heart of user convenience is the HUAWEI X-Button, a customizable shortcut button that provides rapid access to key apps such as Maps, Camera, or Notes. With a single press, or through double and long presses, users can bypass multiple steps to get what they need instantly—a feature tailored for fast-paced environments.

Another standout specification is the nova Y73’s large 6620mAh battery. According to Huawei, this battery can power the device for up to two days on a single charge, alleviating battery anxiety during long days or extended travel. In cold environments down to -20°C, the battery maintains performance, demonstrating its resilience in various situations.

When a quick charge is needed, the 40W SuperCharge Turbo can deliver up to five hours of video playback with just a 10-minute charge. Huawei also assures safety with AI-powered battery optimization and internationally recognized battery certifications.

The 6.67-inch Eye Comfort Display further rounds out the experience, offering clarity and reduced eye strain whether under direct sunlight or dark, cloudy skies. This makes the device suitable for prolonged use, especially for students and professionals who rely on their phones throughout the day.

For consumers looking to maximize their value, Huawei is sweetening the deal with shopping incentives. Until July 31, buyers can claim PHP 300 worth of vouchers on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok, making it easier to make the nova Y73 part of their back-to-school or rainy season upgrades.

With a strong combination of durability, practicality, and affordability, the HUAWEI nova Y73 positions itself as a go-to option for Filipinos looking for a worry-free smartphone experience. Whether you’re caught in a storm or just juggling your everyday tasks, the nova Y73 promises to stay with you—rain or shine.

TechLife has officially introduced its newest budget-friendly tablet, the Pad Lite 8”, offering a portable, powerful, and practical digital companion for modern learners and multitaskers alike.

Launched on July 11, 2025, the TechLife Pad Lite 8” enters the market at an attractive PHP 4,999 price point and is available in two stylish colors—Champagne Gold and Lilac Purple—targeted at students, young professionals, and digital nomads.

The Pad Lite 8” is built to support the ever-evolving routines of today’s learners, whether they are studying on the go, attending virtual classes at home, or casually exploring new interests during downtime.

With its slim and lightweight design, the device features an 8-inch HD display and a detachable stand, allowing users to switch easily between reading, writing, and watching content.

According to TechLife, the Pad Lite 8” was created to seamlessly fit into everyday life without overwhelming it, functioning as a complementary tool rather than a full replacement for bulkier gadgets.

The tablet runs on an octa-core processor and Android 15, and comes with expandable RAM up to 8GB, enabling it to handle light to moderate multitasking with ease.

Storage is another strong point, as the Pad Lite 8” supports expandable memory of up to 1TB, allowing users to store photos, videos, documents, and learning materials without constantly needing to delete old files.

Battery life is often a key concern for mobile learners, and TechLife addresses this with a 6000mAh battery that powers the device through long hours of streaming, browsing, or note-taking.

Even after a full day of use, the Pad Lite 8” is designed to have enough juice left to finish a movie or listen to music before bed, minimizing the need for frequent charging.

Connectivity is another standout feature, with built-in 4G LTE ensuring access to the internet even when Wi-Fi is unavailable.

The device supports dual SIMs and VoLTE calling, providing added flexibility for users who juggle multiple roles or shift locations frequently.

Tech analyst Jayson Lamchek noted in a recent review that “devices like the TechLife Pad Lite 8” meet the demand for affordable yet capable tools for the hybrid lifestyle of Filipino consumers,” citing its competitive specs in the under-P5,000 range.

The Pad Lite 8” isn’t aimed at power users or gamers but at individuals who need a dependable device to check emails, attend Zoom classes, manage grocery lists, and discover new interests throughout the day.

As part of its launch, TechLife is offering exclusive promos from July 12 to 19 on Shopee, where early buyers will receive a free Folio Case and a Globe 5G SIM card while supplies last.

On TikTok, the tablet will be available starting July 14, with the same freebie bundle offered during a limited-time promo until July 19.

The company urges fans to redeem platform vouchers for additional discounts, making the already affordable Pad Lite 8” even more accessible.

TechLife, a growing tech brand under the realme ecosystem, continues to expand its product line tailored for Filipino users by combining thoughtful design with affordability.
