
Lenovo is expanding its security services in the Philippines with an end-to-end cyber resiliency framework designed to simplify fragmented security operations, cut system downtime by up to 50% and reduce remediation costs by up to 40%.
The move comes as 90% of IT leaders acknowledge gaps in their ability to defend against AI-driven threats, according to recent research cited by Lenovo, highlighting the growing challenge organizations face as artificial intelligence becomes more deeply integrated into digital operations.
Philippine enterprises in banking, healthcare, retail, business process outsourcing, government and the public sector are particularly exposed to the growing need for stronger cyber resilience as they modernize their operations.
The Department of Information and Communications Technology’s National Cybersecurity Plan 2023-2028 identifies cyber resilience as a national priority, while the National Privacy Commission requires personal information controllers and processors to maintain security incident management policies and submit annual security incident reports.
For organizations operating in the Philippines, cybersecurity therefore extends beyond IT protection to business continuity, data protection and regulatory compliance.
Lenovo said the problem is increasingly complicated by fragmented accountability, with security operations spread across multiple platforms, vendors and support teams that can make coordinated incident response and recovery more difficult.

Lenovo said its approach has also received recognition from industry analysts and independent organizations, including the 2026 Fortress Cybersecurity Awards in cyber resilience, application security and AI security categories.
According to ISG Research, Lenovo Security Services combines hardware trust, multilayered protection and AI-enabled operations within a unified framework intended to improve resilience, maintain business continuity and reduce operational disruption.
As part of the expansion, Lenovo is launching Security Services with Absolute, a fully managed end-to-end resilience offering aimed at maintaining critical security controls across distributed workforces without increasing demands on internal IT teams.
The service allows essential security controls to automatically recover when disrupted, reducing manual intervention and helping organizations maintain consistent protection across their environments.
The offering is backed by Lenovo’s global 24x7x365 Security Operations Center, where security specialists continuously monitor activity and help organizations identify and respond to emerging threats.
Lenovo said the combination of firmware-level resilience, managed operations and expert security oversight can strengthen end-to-end resiliency while reducing the operational burden on internal teams.
The company is also introducing Lenovo ThinkShield TraceLock, powered by Absolute Security, to give organizations greater visibility and control over lost, stolen or disconnected devices that may fall outside traditional endpoint management and security tools.
Traditional endpoint security generally depends on an active operating system or network connection, potentially leaving powered-off or disconnected devices as operational blind spots.
ThinkShield TraceLock uses built-in cellular connectivity to allow IT teams to remotely locate, wake and wipe devices, helping protect sensitive data and reduce risks associated with lost or compromised hardware.
The solution is also intended to support compliance efforts, maintain control over sensitive corporate data and enforce security policies when endpoints are offline.
Lenovo said the technology is particularly relevant to highly regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, government, business process outsourcing and the public sector, where protecting sensitive information and meeting compliance requirements are critical.
ThinkShield TraceLock became available beginning July 1 on select ThinkPad devices.
Beyond individual security products, Lenovo’s broader cyber resiliency framework brings together several security capabilities under a unified operational model, including:

Lenovo said its AI-enabled Security Operations Center is designed to coordinate threat management and security incident response across these capabilities through a single accountable relationship instead of requiring customers to manage multiple providers independently.
The company said the integrated approach is intended to help organizations reduce security complexity, improve operational efficiency and pursue digital transformation while maintaining stronger resilience against evolving cyber threats.
